The New DC Projects Announced by James Gunn surprised everyone for the upcoming list of shows and movies next eight or ten years. Whenever James Gun and Warner Bros. Discovery come together definitely there is a big surprise for his fans. “Storytelling is always king. That’s all that matters to us,” James Gunn, the co-CEO of DC Studios said Tuesday.

You all are aware that last year DC studio appointed its new two heads Gunn and Safran. In a very short time, they shocked everyone by posting a video on social media in which you can watch more than a dozen projects coming next. DCEU (DC Extended Universe) debuted with a new project titled “Gods and Monster.”
“So as many of you know, DC has been disconnected in film and television for a long time,” Gunn said in a video posted on Twitter. “And it’s one of our jobs, mine and Peter’s, to come in and make sure the DCU is connected in film, television, gaming, and animation that the characters are consistent, played by the same actors and it works within one story.”
Good news for the fans of “Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3,” Disney’s Marvel Studios series will hit theaters in May.
They opened up about several films with their release date like “The Batman – Part II,” which is a spin on “The Batman” by Matt Reeves. The expected date of this film is 3 October 2025, next on the list is “Joker”, the main cast of Joaquin Phoenix and Lady Gaga in the set for next year.

Superman: Legacy
Written by Gunn this film will hit theaters on 11 July 2025. Although we have no complete idea about the superpower-based series. But we can clear some of your doubts about Henry Cavil not reprising his role, as a man of steel.
And the other cast is not opened yet. As Gunn directed it and filmed a favorite character for all generations Superman officially launch DCU in high gear.
The Authority
Warren Elis and Bryan Hitch series will again be made remade by the DCEU heads Gunn and Safran. It seems like Gun again wanted to show the antic characters who fight against crimes on every planet including Earth.
He said “not every film and TV show is going to be about good guy versus bad guy, giant things from the sky [come] and the good guy wins. There are white hats, black hats, and gray hats.”

The Brave and the Bold
DCEU will go to introduce Batman and Damian Wayne his son together as Robin in a new series. A new actor will play this character but interesting to watch does Wayne is like her dad and save the Earth and is prone to violence. Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow
Tom King’s comic series-based movie Supergirl: Woman of Tomorrow again rewrite its character from the book to be filmed by Gunn and Safran. If you again imagined the face as supergirl by Melissa Benoist played by Helen Slater in 1984 then get ready to see a new supergirl shaped this tie with DCEU.
Swamp Thing
Swamp Thing aired once before in 2019 but was canceled after airing one season. No, another adaption arrived yet which exactly shows the character like the comic writer Alan Moore thought. Although Gunn is known for horror movies so you can watch this movie in that direction.

Creature Commandos
HBO Max already launched this animated series of seven Episodes, written by Gunn. It will be the new version of the 1980 comic, where the fight with Nazis in World War II is described. No voice character has been chosen yet.

Waller
According to Gunn’s statement, this show will be the spin-off, Peacemaker which is already a spin of The Suicide Squad with the lead cast Viola Davis as Amanda Waller, Christal Henry, Jeremy Carver and some of Peacmaker cast will reprise their role. It expected date will 2025.
Booster Gold
Booster Gold, HBO (Succession Season 3) streaming another series like this in which the character is like a fraud. A guy who used modern technologies and time machines and become a superhero. Now, this is interesting this new superhero has something new for the fans who are going to hang out with him every week.

“One of the things that’s very important for me in all of these movies and TV series is that the director’s vision and the vision of the writers and all of the creators is unique,” Gunn said. He assured us that all the projects will have new and different tons.
Other series like “Shazam: Fury of the Gods,” “The Flash,” “Blue Beetle” and “Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom” has not announced any date yet for the slate of 2023.
