When two Northrop Grumman workers were discovered dead on the job, it was a tragic day for the company. The accident occurred on Monday, January 30, at the company’s Bacchus facility in Salt Lake County, Utah. The cause of their deaths has not been made public, but more information should become available soon.
Once the incident was reported to police, the two workers were reportedly found unconscious. The West Valley City Fire Department and the West Valley City Police Department both claimed to have responded quickly and performed CPR on the two workers.
The two workers were taken to the hospital, but by the time anyone there could do anything about it, they were already dead. The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is assisting the police with their investigation, according to the police (OSHA).

Officials from the company issued a statement in which they said they would work with OSHA and added
“We extend our sincere condolences to the families of the employees who lost their lives as well as to the staff of Northrup Grumman.”
There was also confirmation that employees’ loved ones had been informed of their deaths in the official statement. Additionally, the officials will utilize their employee assistance program to receive counseling and other services for themselves and their families.
Northrop Grumman concluded their statement by saying that the tragedy had affected everyone at the company. They called their employees the “most valued part” of the company. Despite repeated requests, the company has not provided any comment to the media.
