Prepare to be introduced to the authentic Pamela Anderson. In her upcoming Netflix documentary Pamela: a love story, fans will get an intimate glimpse at the Baywatch star’s personal life. Moreover, her son Brandon Thomas Lee, who is a producer on the upcoming film, is the perfect person to assist convey her tale.
“I would say she is a protector, a voice for people and things that don’t have a voice,” Brandon exclusively shared on the Jan. 31 episode of E! News. “She is an incredibly talented and intelligent woman.”
Brandon continued his interview with Pamela on the red carpet of the film’s premiere on January 30 by saying that everything his mom does is “amazing.” “I don’t believe people have that sort of experience very often these days, and I think it’s really something wonderful. As far as I’m concerned, she’s a rock star because there’s literally nothing she can’t accomplish.”
The documentary touches on some of Pamela’s darkest hours, such as the release of the infamous s*x video between her and her ex-husband Tommy Lee, but it also celebrates her many triumphs, such as her recent Broadway debut in Chicago and the surprisingly relatable hobbies she shared.
“Right now, I’m really into my vegetable garden, making jam,” Pamela explained. “I’m really good at making pickles, mustard, pierogies, vegan cooking. I’m always creating and doing stuff, and I just have fallen in love with my garden lately, too. It’s a miracle. It’s amazing. I planted everything and everything has grown just wild, so I’m really in love with all that. Just trying to make a beautiful home.”
The 55-year-old was thrilled to see the documentary for the first time with her son Dylan Jagger Lee, whom she shares with the drummer of Mötley Crüe, and said it “raised a lot of really great memories.”
As she put it, “That’s who I am” became crystal clear to her after watching the film. “It’s crucial to periodically check in with oneself since we all experience periods in which we become distracted, sidetracked, and off course. But I was like, “Yeah, I have a lot of fun,” and that was that. “I’ve got it made.”
