Who are the Couples Got Divorced After the Bachelor Show?

Bachelor Couple Divorce

Bachelor Couple Divorce

Somewhat surprisingly, the first official divorce in the history of The Bachelor franchise didn’t happen until nearly 20 years into the series run. While some couples from The Bachelor, The Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise have stayed together after the show ended, the vast majority of contestants on these shows end up splitting up before they get married.

Let’s read in this post who are those couples who get divorced after they meet in the series “Bachelor”.

Who is the First Couple who gets Divorced after the series “Bachelor”?

Krystal Nielson and Chris Randone made history in February 2020 as the first couple to legally end their marriage on Bachelor Nation. During the summer of 2018, Krystal and Chris met on the set of Season 5 of “The Bachelor in Paradise.”

Having gotten engaged in the final episode, the couple will return to Mexico in June 2019 to get married in front of ABC cameras. They went their separate ways after being married for under a year. Chris told Us Weekly in August 2020, “I think one of the biggest issues was me going from one show to the next with really no time to process”.

Because I believe it was only a couple of weeks before I was back on another show after being eliminated from [Becca Kufrin’s] season of The Bachelorette. But I went back, saw my sister’s newborn baby and the next thing I knew I was on a plane back to Mexico.

Because I was in a relationship, engaged and then married, I was unable to deal with it, process it or focus on it. And throughout it all, I gave up on myself which I believe contributed to my own personal problems. Chris continued that they had separated to allow us to focus on ourselves and continue to grow and get better, but Krystal ended things for good.

Divorce of Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum

Ashley Hebert and J.P. Fletcher, the winners of The Bachelorette season 7 made headlines not long after Krystal and Chris’s breakup. After nearly eight years of marriage, Rosenbaum revealed in October 2020 that she and her husband had quietly separated.

The dentist announced their breakup on Instagram, writing, “It is with a heavy heart that I share with you that, after months of separation, Jp and I have amicably decided to go separate ways”. Wonderful offspring were born of our union and we made memories that will last a lifetime together.

After years of trying to mend our broken relationship, we’ve come to the conclusion that it’s for the best of our children to start over with new families.

DeAnna Pappas and Stephen Stagliano

As of October 2011, the season 4 Bachelorette was married to Stagliano, the identical twin brother of Michael Stagliano, a contestant on season 5. The flight attendant said that they were divorcing after more than ten years of marriage.

The couple said, We have decided to end our relationship as a couple and I want you to know how deeply sorry I am about it. We have worked very hard as a married couple and as individuals and have decided to stay apart,” she wrote on Instagram in January of 2023.

Carly Waddell and Evan Bass

On 2016’s third season of “The Bachelor in Paradise,” the twosome first crossed paths. They tied the knot in front of a worldwide audience a year later in Mexico. In December 2020, after being married for three years, news of Evan and Carly’s split became public knowledge. (As per the reports of Usmagazine.com)

Bass admitted in June 2022 that it was still hard to talk about why he and Waddell had broken up. I’m still in it. His comments on the “Talking It Out” podcast revealed that the situation was still very sensitive to him. I don’t know if you ever get completely, like, perfect.

There’s this deep sadness that still remains. Scars and wounds heal, but they also serve as teachers and I’m doing what I can to learn from them. During that time, he also considered the couple’s approach to raising their two children, Bella and Charlie.

Bass admitted, “It’s been a bit of a process”. I wanted 50/50 but realized that my kids are too young and needed my support more than anything else. That sucked. That’s so annoying. It’s so difficult for me to deal with not constantly being in their company.

You just have to keep going. Never is it simple. Co-parenting is never simple. But it’s all good because of Carly. Okay, I feel like we’ve settled into a good rhythm here.

When news broke of their split in June 2016, however, Marcus revealed they were never legally married. It feels like she’s a runaway bride, he told Life & Style at the time. When we got back from Mexico, we were supposed to start the paperwork, but she was a holdout.
