Jeff, who at the time was unfamiliar with MrBeast told People that he almost hung up when he was contacted by the company. In the end, Jeff and MrBeast contacted 40 patients from Florida homeless shelters and free clinics to perform the procedures between 7 a.m. and 6 p.m.
He then contacted SEE International, an organization that helps people all over the world get free eye care. He was successful in his mission to restore sight to one thousand people by covering the costs of their surgeries.
