15 years ago Dead Space launched and players go crazy for it. Here we are going to discuss the Dead Space remake differences that are noticed in the new launch. But this time creators announced its remake from the ground. Which is aired on 27 January 2023. If you are an experienced player of the Dead Space remake then you also realize mostly change is its pattern. Now it becomes Dead Space (2023) knowing from its last name but totally changing inside.

Isaac Get Voice 

In the 2008 Dead Space, you can’t hear Isaac’s voice, as he was a silent protagonist. He was continuously ordered by Hammond and Daniels. He is always in search of Nicole and his girlfriend at a big plot. 

But this time Isaac can speak also and can share his feeling with the player. Motivate the player to find Nicole and stop the Necromorph threat from spreading around. He can argue this time with Hammond and Daniels. So with this change, Dead Space 2 feels natural for the fan.

Hammond and Daniels change in Humans

Whereas the original Dead Space used b-film dialogue which did not match perfectly with its atmosphere and theme. Hammond was a husky authoritarian while Daniel was a grunt who always screamed at her fallows without any reason. 

But it’s the latest installment both the characters change their nature and show some humanity towards their team. While arguing regularly but start showing sympathy for other characters also. Hammond gave command but tried to save his team members also. Even now ask Daniel if she signed anyone on his team. Daniels comes as a computer technician who worries about the dangerous location where he is located now.

Chen and Johnson’s time on Screen Extended

Chen and Johnson also join Hammond, Daniels, and Isaac at Ishimura. But unfortunately, they were killed so soon, we can’t know them properly. But in this new update, they also update. In the last Dead Space, these male characters are silent and also have no personality or story. But now both get some more time on screen, but Chen is killed as it was in the original.

Johnson’s gender changed this time, she is an engineer ordered to wait on the ship, and the other four went for survivors. When Isaac realise she is not safe, came to warn her, but she was killed as he reaches. The team missed several times throughout the games. 

Elizabeth Cross

An unseen character Elizabeth was killed by the villain before the game started. Jacob Temple loved her. But in the new update, Cross gets some presence on screen making her way to fleeing the Isimura. But she has trapped the Leviathan and tried to stop it from spreading around the ship. When she is stuck with it, don’t ask for help from the other survivors until Isaac helps her to get free. Then she asked him to find Jacob and Isaac to complete the task.

Story Difficulty New Feature

The new Dead Space came back with all kinds of levels like the Easy, Normal, Hard, and Impossible difficulties. A new feature can be seen this time Story difficulty watch is easier than easy. The Gun also updates this time with more power. If you are a new player of survival horror games then you have to start with this. 

Two Fights With Leviathan

Although fans face Leviathan in the last game, they get two chances to fight with him in the remake. When in the Food Storage Facility a blast took place, then Isaac have to fight once again. 

New Content Added to Ishimura’s Design

Ishimura ship is mostly the same as it is but some new content has been added to it. Mainly the path changed according to the player’s comfort zone. With the help of batteries, you can make your own shortcuts for your location.

Some new side missions are added with the main story in the new update which can be completed through the game. Both short and longer missions added which are complete the game.

New Secret Ending Differs from Original

An alternate ending took place this time which is missing in the original. A security clearance to set with a custom keycard is needed to unlock the ending. Another way to unlock it is through side missions where you can collect RIGs and data from Isimura staff with this you can open several lockers and boxes.
