WWE held a party at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to mark the RAW as XXX broadcasts. In honor of the show’s 30th anniversary a special episode of Monday Night RAW was ordered complete with anniversary-themed guest stars and stipulation bouts.
Even while the program was mostly well-received, many viewers were dissatisfied with how the women’s division was treated. Recent hours have seen the revelation of moments of backstage dissatisfaction such as the postponement of a Steel Cage Match and the unexpected absence of The Bella Twins, prompting fans to rise up in response.
Some WWE fans have used to Twitter in the last few hours to express their displeasure, using the hashtag #WWEWomenDeserveBetter to vent their frustrations. Because of its popularity on Twitter, this topic has exploded in the United States. Users’ reactions to this remark have been diverse, with some agreeing with the criticism and others dismissing it as an exaggerated move from select fan circles.
