The Real Housewives of Atlanta star, Kenya Moore and well-known businessmen Marc Daly filed for divorce in 2021. Did they acquire it now? Daly is a businessman, situated in New York, where he owned a southern restaurant named SoCo. Both met here for the first time invited by Chef Roble. Because Moore lived in Atlanta, there is a long geographical distance between them, “The distance had been taking a toll on us”. 

“Initially when we had the baby, it was great. He was there for every single doctor’s appointment, every ultrasound and every scare, we were 90 percent together. He was a very supportive husband during that time.”

How did Kenya and Marc’s Relationship Start?

Both met at first through their common friend Chef Roble Ali, in 2016. Here they start dating and finally in June 2017, they get married and blessed with a daughter, Brooklyn Doris in the same year. “It was just so perfect,” Moore said.

She added that Daly was heavily involved in the planning: “He didn’t want something for the show. He didn’t want it to be left up to other people’s interpretation of love. He just wanted it to be what he sees it: him looking into my eyes and us being together. It was just two people in love who wanted to get married.”

“I’m strong but of course, I get lonely,” the former Miss USA said. She said she was looking for a long time to get someone, who loved her and steal her heart.  Moore married him within a month, as she looked for her soulmate in him.

Both wanted to live all the romantic time with each other to confirm that everything is in reality, not a dream, “We needed to make sure it was real.”

When did They Announce Their Separation? 

But unfortunately, after two years of marriage in 2019, both announced their separation. Even Marc said, “I didn’t get married to quit.”

“I love my husband,” she continued. “I don’t doubt that he loves me. Let me be clear, I took my vows seriously. I believe in for better and for worse and I believe in trying it all before you walk away, especially when we do have a child and we are a family.”

But again in 2020, both try to make the future once again. Moore discussed her relationship with Andy Cohen and that now they were living a happy life and focusing on their future life. But, again in 2021, both separated and filed again for divorce officially.

In 2021 Daly officially filed for divorce, then after withdrawing it after 12 hours. She also captured o Twitter “For the record: Marc withdrew the divorce petition the next day and said that he was not asking for alimony in the filing and that we misinterpreted NY law. There has been no further divorce action to date”.

This scene was taped months ago. Then Moore filed for divorce and to get custody of her daughter. In an episode of Watch What Happens Life!, Moore told Cohen that it seems the case s going long for many years. She wanted to clear it soon, but March wanted to hold it. Moore said, “I’m sorry to hear that too. Get me free! Get me free!” 

Hence it is clear that they are still not divorced, “So until we get a trial date or settle, it’s still going to go on.” In the 2023 episode of Watch What Happens Life, Moorey said she hope that this year their divorce will be finalized.
