“Hawkeye” actor Jeremy Renner is posting new details about his snowplough accident almost three weeks after being evacuated to a hospital in critical but stable condition.
Police said Renner used a personal snowplough in Nevada to help a family member pull out a snow-bound automobile. The snowplough started rolling while he left to talk to the family member. A spokeswoman said Renner was run over and suffered “blunt chest trauma and orthopaedic injuries” while trying to leap back into the driver’s seat.
Jeremy Renner revealed that the collision shattered “30 plus” bones in an Instagram post on Saturday morning. He indicated he would recover at home on Jan. 17.
“Morning workouts, resolutions all changed this particular new year…. Spawned from tragedy for my entire family, and quickly focused into uniting actionable love … These 30 plus broken bones will mend, grow stronger, just like the love and bond with family and friends deepens,” Renner wrote, alongside a photo of himself in a hospital bed as another person bent back his leg.
