The fantastic PlayStation game’s HBO version debuted last Sunday and garnered 10 million viewers in its first two days. The first episode of The Last of Us debuted on HBO Max over the weekend, bringing Joel and Ellie’s post-apocalyptic odyssey to the streaming channel.

The nine-episode first season of the show centers on the first game in the illustrious PlayStation video game series from creator Naughty Dog. The show debuted on Sunday and garnered 10 million viewers in its first two days. There will be new episodes every week through March 12.

This weekend marks the release of episode 2 of the “Infected” video game adaptation. It will immediately proceed with the events of the first episode, in which Tess (Anna Torv) and Joel (Pedro Pascal) decided to sneak Ellie (Bella Ramsey) into the Fireflies.
