The first peek of the new Jonathan Kent in Superman & Lois season 3 has been released. When original star Jordan Elsass left the position last year to focus on his mental health, it was later reported that Michael Bishop would be taking up the role.
This new footage with Bishop in character suggests major developments for the Kents including the introduction of a new member of the family via a possible pregnancy. The CW announced last month that the next season would launch on March 14 and provided the following synopsis: “Clark and Lois are now working at the Smallville Gazette together and enjoying small-town life.

But the Kents wedded pleasure only highlights how lonely ‘the secret’ can be, as Chrissy (Sofia Hasmik) struggles to reconcile a new love interest and her friendship with Lois.

However, Lois’s work-life balance is tested when an undercover assignment discovers a deadly nemesis that promises to change the Kent family forever. Superman will do anything to protect his loved ones, but an enemy as ruthless as this may make that impossible.
As Jordan (Alex Garfin) learns the meaning of his superhero identity and Jonathan (Michael Bishop) looks for meaning in life beyond sports, the Kent brothers are torn in different directions. Previously, Elsass discussed his departure from the show, saying, “I know that I was thrilled for Superman & Lois season 3, for sure, but what are you going to do”?
