A Famous professional ice hockey player from Canada has suddenly passed away at the age of 52. The respected enforcer Gino Odjick passed away yesterday, according to his family. On Sunday, January 15, 2023, Dina Odjick, Gino’s sister, tweeted about her brother’s passing.
She wrote: “Our hearts are broken. My brother Gino Odjick has left us for the spirit world.”
The footballer, diagnosed with amyloidosis at age 52, went away after a heart attack. This is an uncommon disorder that affects the body’s organs and tissues, making it harder for them to function due to an accumulation of aberrant proteins known as amyloid.
The condition, according to Gino, affected his heart and other organs before the 2014 diagnosis.
