When Will Dr. Death Season 2 Release Date?
Get ready to enjoy Dr. Death for the second time on your television screen only on the Peacock network. This series’ first part premiered on July 15, 2021; every episode is 44-60 minutes having eight episodes. In Canada, it was available from September 12. In July 2022, it officially announced that this series would be renewed for the second time on fans’ demand.
Peacock used their official site on Twitter to confirm its renewal. But it is not clear yet when it will release. Even production has not started yet. The audience can get Dr. Death’s season 2 crime drama in 2023.

According to internal sources, “The new season will feature the ‘Miracle Man’ storyline, based on the most recent third season of the podcast. Ashley Michel Hoban, writer-producer on the first season of Dr. Death, serves as showrunner, writer, and executive producer for Season 2. Season 1s showrunner, writer, and executive producer Patrick Macmanus will executive produce Season 2 via his Littleton Road Productions banner under his overall deal with UCP.”
Further adding, “Season 2 will revolve around Paolo Macchiarini, a charming surgeon, renowned for the innovative operations that earn him the nickname ‘Miracle Man,’ when investigative journalist Benita Alexander approaches him for a story, the line between personal and professional begins to blur, changing her life forever. As she learns how far Paolo will go to protect his secrets, a group of doctors halfway across the world makes shocking discoveries of their own that call everything about the ‘Miracle Man’ into question.”
In the first season, three directors direct eight-episode.
“Ashley Michel Hoban brings us further into a reality far stranger than fiction with the next chapter from executive producer Patrick Macmanus and this extraordinary Wondery podcast,” said Jennifer Gwartz. “We’re thrilled Peacock wanted to build and expand on the original series with this new shocking story.”
