For reasons that were never made clear, Bowman left the game at halftime of the November 3 match against Oklahoma. According to the report of Thursday, Alan Bowman, a fifth-year senior who transferred to the program from Texas Tech and spent the past two years in Ann Arbor, entered his name into the NCAA transfer portal.
