Cardi B is almost prepared to give birth to her third child! The rapper of Dominican ancestry posted pictures of her 1-year-old baby on social media, complimenting his appearance and encouraging her to carry on with family planning.

The “Money” singer followed Beyonce’s lead by disclosing her pregnancy during her performance at the BET Awards in the summer of 2021. In a black bejeweled Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit with a transparent panel revealing Cardi’s baby belly, the rapper took the stage with her husband Offset and his group Migos to perform the song “Type S—.”

On Thursday, April 14, 2022, the 30-year-old star and her husband, Offset, announced their son’s name Wave Set Cephus. “🦕🌊🧸,” she wrote on Instagram alongside pics of Wave wearing a baby blue outfit and an impressive and stunning diamond chain in a wave shape.
Cardi also revealed that Offset was the one who came up with the name. “When Set suggested Wave, I was sold! THAT HAD TO BE HIS NAME !” she wrote on Twitter.

Cardi and Offset have two children together, including Wave. Four-year-old Kulture Kiari is their child. Kalea, a 7-year-old boy, Kody, and Jordan, a 12-year-old girl, are Offset’s other three children from past relationships.

Cardi, the “I Like It” artist, 28, and her husband Offset, 29, welcomed their boy, their second child together, on Saturday, September 4.
Cardi announced the excellent news and included a picture of her holding her little son in her hospital bed next to Offset. Cardi and Offset are seen gazing adoringly down at their young child in the image while the “WAP” singer lounges beneath a Louis Vuitton blanket.
“9/4/21🦕💙🧸,” Cardi captioned the sweet family photo.
“We are so overjoyed to finally meet our son,” the couple said in a statement shared with PEOPLE. “He is already loved so much by family and friends and we can’t wait to introduce him to his other siblings.”
Daughter Kulture, age 3, is already a parent thanks to Cardi and Offset. In addition, Offset is the father to Kalea, 6, Kody, 6, and Jordan, 11, his sons from past relationships.
While performing with Offset and Migos at the BET Awards in June, Cardi first made the pregnancy announcement.
Cardi joined the group for “Type S—-” after the band had finished performing “Straightening.” A transparent section in the abdomen of Cardi’s embroidered Dolce & Gabbana bodysuit that she wore while performing on stage revealed her protruding belly.

Cardi discussed how she told her husband Offset about her pregnancy and the rapper from the Migos’ response during a July interview on the live radio app Station head.
The “Up” singer claimed that during the preparations for her performance with Megan Thee Stallion, two weeks before the Grammys, she began to exhibit pregnancy signs. Cardi reported migraines and carsickness and that her “mouth started to get watery.”
Soon after, she told Offset, “I think I’m pregnant, buddy.”
Cardi claimed that she and her husband began to laugh after a pregnancy test confirmed the existence of baby No. 2.
