In 2017 a brand new season of Amazon Prime Video’s The Boys debuted, and viewers went wild. Season 3 of The Boys upped the ante and surpassed the reactions of seasons 1 and 2, which had already been quite positive. The season introduces the Payback superhero team, captained by Soldier Boy (Jensen Ackles), who takes The Boys and the Seven on a raunchy s*x-filled trip. Season 4 is now in production, and it has a slew of new cast members, including Jeffrey Dean Morgan (Supernatural, The Walking Dead).

While most of the cast has been kept in the dark about who Morgan is playing, at least one member of the cast has apparently shed light on the subject. The Boys actor Nathan Mitchell, who plays Black Noir, recently spoke with The Movie Dweeb, and in the discussion, he shed some light on Morgan’s “Badass” new persona.

His Moon sign is “You don’t even want to f—-ing know,” while his Sun sign is “badass.” Says Mitchell, humorously. “I don’t know how much can be divulged about that character,” said Jeffrey Dean Morgan, “but I think the beautiful thing about this show is that we’re continually moving in various areas and giving you different storylines and other people in ways you wouldn’t expect.”

The Boys was Officially Renewed for a Fourth Season a few weeks Before the Season Three Finale

Since the series concluded on a high note, viewers are eager to learn what comes next. Actor Karl Urban recently shared the start date for filming Season 4, so we may get some updates soon. Urban portrays Butcher on the show.

According to Amazon Studios’ global head of television Vernon Sanders: “From our first conversation with Eric Kripke and the creative team about Season 3 of The Boys, we knew the show was continuing to get even bolder—an impressive feat considering the wild success of the Emmy-nominated second season.” “The Boys keeps on surprising us with its innovative storytelling, which is both endlessly amusing and surprisingly incisive when it comes to societal satire that hits too close to home.

The series’ stylized setting attracts a massive audience from all over the world, as seen by its successful opening weekend. We couldn’t be happier that The Boys has become a franchise for Prime Video and we can’t wait to provide more of the show to our loyal audience.”

The Boys’ showrunner added, “Speaking for the cast and crew, we’re so grateful to Sony, Amazon, and most of all the fans for embracing the show and allowing us to make more.” “We can’t wait to share our thoughts on this crazy universe while cheering on Butcher and the Boys in their battle against Homelander and the Seven. It’s also the first time that exploding genitalia has actually paved the way to greater achievement.”

According to statements made by Sony Pictures Television President Jeff Frost and Sony Pictures Television co-President Jason Clodfelter, “With each passing season, The Boys’ creators and cast continue to disprove all expectations. We’re quite pleased with the results of this bold experiment in storytelling.

We consider Prime Video to be more of a member of the family than a business partner. Sony Pictures Television is grateful to Prime Video and Eric Kripke for another great season, and we’re all looking forward to working with them again.” Amazon Prime members can now watch every episode of “The Boys” online immediately. If you want to know more about Season 4, you should stay tuned.
