Originally from England, actor and musician James Campbell Bower was born on November 22, 1988. In 2007 he made his debut in feature films with a supporting role in Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street. The juvenile Gellert Grindelwald in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows—Part 1 and Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald was played by Taylor. He went on to star in The Twilight Saga and The Mortal Instruments: City of Bones.
In the 2010s, Bower was part of the major casts of the fantasy series Camelot on Starz and Will on TNT. Bower’s performance as Henry Creel/One/Vecna in the fourth season of Stranger Things earned him accolades in 2022. For the years 2015–2020, he was the vocalist for the London band Counterfeit.

Counterfeit, fronted by Bower, released their debut album in March 2017 and toured the United States the same year. Bower confirmed the breakup of the band on Instagram in November 2020. He released music as a solo artist shortly after.

James Campbell Bower’s Personal Life
As of February 2010, it was widely reported that Bower was dating actress Bonnie Wright, whom he had met while filming Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1. They announced their engagement in April 2011. On 30 June 2012, they mutually dissolved their engagement. He announced his seven and a half years of sobriety in July of 2022.
