Tammy Goff autopsy: After three years of missing finally, Tammy Goff was found dead on May 14, 2021, in the Missouri river. This was confirmed by Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter. Who is Tammy Goff?
Tammy’s real name was Tamara Lewison Goff who was born on 18 July 1958 and has six siblings. Tammy and Bob, who is 17 days older than her raised in the same region of Great Falls, but meet each other when they join the same school, Great Falls High School. After completing graduation both married. Both have the same nature to help people when they need them, for education, health, and other fields.
“She has a great-aunt that was a nurse that she bonded with when she was a teenager,” said Bob. “I think in the big family that she was in…her Aunt Helen kind of took her under her wing and kind of made her feel special.” At present they have two children and five grandchildren, who are leaving in the Seattle area but come to see their grandparents.
“For us to drive to Seattle, that’s a 10-hour drive,” Bob said. “It’s nothing to jump in the car and even go out for a long weekend.” Tammy and Bob leaving their life also go for a walk along the river with their adopted dog, Sadie. After missing Tammy, Bob spent time with Sadie, to fulfill the lack of Tammy. She loved to listen to Tim McGraw songs but doesn’t like to be older soon.
“Tammy was a good person. She liked to help people,” he said at one point, then paused. “Or is. Is a good person.”
How Tammy Disappeared?
Before Tammy disappeared, her son Jesse, his wife Amanda, and their daughter Hope, come to celebrate two birthdays.
“The 12th is (Jesse’s) birthday…The next day is his daughter, Hope’s, birthday — the 13th — so we were going to be having a barbecue that Saturday,” said Tammy’s husband, Bob Goff. “We had just this wonderful week going on staying at the house, and had gone on several trips during the early part of the week.” “And then she disappeared.”
Actually, she disappeared on 12 July 2018, just six days before she enters 60. She went with her dog Sadie, in her truck. The next day Sadie was found at Hawk Drive, which 4 miles away from Great Falls, on the south side. Sadie was found after 32 hours of missing.
Some witnesses said Sadie had been seen early towards the opposite side of the Missouri River. After that, her family, brothers, sisters, and other friends spent most of their time to find her, near the river asking landlords, in the hope they get a clue. Bob recently brought a drone to find her where nobody can find her.
“If I wasn’t doing this (interview) I’d probably be out in the boat tonight. I’ve got another couple of spots to look at,” he said. “You say to yourself, ‘What am I missing? What am I missing?’ You grasp for straws, you know. You just grasp for anything.”
Bob’s Father Inheritance:
Tammy and Bob, get a home with two dogs and one cat, as an inheritance. The cat’s name is Mouse. “Tammy had found new homes for the two dogs, but the cat was like 15 years old,” Bob said. “We decided the cat could just live at the house until it passed.”
“In the morning, she would get up and that would be one of the first things that she would do in the morning was go feed Mouse,” said Bob. “It was just the start of a normal day.”
Both were planning to clean up some space in that new home, but the next day, Bob, saw her from the window, taking Sadie with her in his favorite pickup black 2008 Chevy Colorado. But he had no idea he watch her for the last time. After one and a half hours she left the home Bob tried to call her but didn’t answer.
Then he went to her father’s home and get some food for Mouse, but the unlucky cat was also not there. “That was another mystery thing,” Bob said. He thought was the cat dead or went away? Or did she also join Tammy? But He had also an idea about Tammy. But when she does not return back at Sadie’s dinner then he understands coming wrong happened.
“If it was Sadie’s dinnertime, she would not be someplace without feeding Sadie,” he said. “That was when I decided to call the police.”
Search Operation for Tammy
Bob said on TV this mystery would be solved within one hour when cops solved it with tracing phones and GPS. They also get a witness. But in real life, this is too difficult to find their beloved after missing.
“You expect that the police are going to drop everything and bring 50 people over to help you,” Bob said. “What happens on TV is just that. In real life, it doesn’t really happen that way.” After reporting only an officer come to interview Bob. Again he called to ask some questions, like where to go mostly in her pickup. Although police try to track her phone vanish.
“The first two weeks were probably the most horrible because I just felt that she was laying injured somewhere, and I needed to find her,” Bob said. “When you have a missing adult person, there have been no laws broken. The police are really reluctant to put a lot of full force into it.”

“The next day with the 5-year-old granddaughter (asking) ‘Where’s grandma?’ You know, it’s one of those statements that just haunts you in your head,” he continued. “What do you tell a 5-year-old, especially when you don’t know?” As time was spent, the search operation went more serious.
Providing privacy to his partner also get into a problem, for Bob. Because he didn’t know her laptop, phone, and facebook’s password. So they could not get any single clue from social media. Police could not find anything, but Bob thanks them to help him. Bob’s family also tried their best, to search for her. Bob was like a different per now and visited every expected place he can. “We’ve joined a club that nobody wants to belong to,” Bob said.
“Late last night we were able to confirm that the VIN number matched that the vehicle found in the Missouri river was indeed the Goff’s vehicle and was the same vehicle described as the vehicle that was tammy Goff was driving when she went missing,” said Cascade County Sheriff Jesse Slaughter.
“The thing that I’ve kind of struggled with is that missing persons in general…the husband or the last person to see her is usually the prime suspect,” he said. “So if I’m going in there and asking for information, they’re a little hesitant to give me everything that I ask them for. And I still feel that a lot.”
What Was Found in Tammy Goff’s Autopsy?
Bob said that they found Tammy after three years of her missing report. She was exactly there where our German Shepard dog trying to tell us. Both emotions raised together now relaxation and sadness. We feel relaxed now but sad about losing her forever. We have to thank the local area people for helping us in every way they can.
“Finding Tammy’s truck yesterday has been a huge milestone. We do not have confirmation yet of the occupant. Many other questions still remain. We appreciate all the support and prayers of the community over these last 148 weeks since tammy went missing. The sheriff’s office, the great falls police, the landowners who allowed us access to their property, and many individuals who donated time and effort all were extremely important to the search. Thank you.”
