Sister of Brian Kohberger is a Star of a Horror Movie: In a gruesome, low-budget slasher film where individuals are mercilessly stabbed, sliced, and hacked to death with knives and hatchets, the sister of accused Idaho college murderer Bryan Kohberger played the lead role.
The 2011 film “Two Days Back,” about a group of teenage students who go trekking in the lonely woods and meet their terrible demise at the hands of a crazed killer who has gained their trust, starred Amanda Kohberger as “Lori.”
It is uncannily identical to the stabbing deaths of four young college mates in their beds in distant Moscow, Idaho, for which Bryan is currently on trial.
“You’re f—king kidding me. Is her brother that guy? Goddamn, man, holy cow,” said “Two Days Back” director Kevin Boon when reached by The Post Wednesday. According to Boon, a professor of English and media studies at Penn State Mont Alto, the movie was created with students who cast aspiring actress Amanda Kohberger after an open call for actors.

“I remember her well. I directed the movie, wrote the movie, I cast her,” he said. “She is a very nice and lovely woman. I liked her a lot.”
The film follows a group of “environmentally conscious students” who go into the woods “on a six-day mission to catch forestry students suspected of illegal foresting,” according to the film’s promotional materials.
Things swiftly go bad as pupils disappear, are discovered bleeding to death from knife wounds, have been captured in bear traps, or have been killed and then fastened to trees. However, Amanda’s “Lori” escapes the twisted peer with a previously undiscovered connection to the woods that ends up killing several pupils.
She runs away as things become strange and is safely returned to campus at the end of the movie. Lori “turns her back on the other people … and takes off, but she’s not one of the murdered,” said Boon. Bryan is currently charged with the murders of University of Idaho students Kaylee Goncalves, 21, Madison Mogen, 21, Xana Kernodle, 20, and Ethan Chapin, 20, on November 13. They were all found dead in their beds.
Before their brother was deported to Idaho on Tuesday, Amanda, currently employed as a professional school counselor in Pennsylvania, appeared in court to defend him. Melissa, her sister, and her parents, Michael and Maryann, accompanied her. In a statement made on Sunday, Bryan’s family stated that they support him and want to “advance his assumption of innocence.”
The alleged murderer is anticipated to reject responsibility for the killings. Jason LaBar, Bryan’s Pennsylvania-based attorney, stated in a prior statement that Bryan “is ready to be exonerated of these charges.”
One of Amanda Kohberger’s co-stars, Katherine Howard, told The Post the two “were friends when we made the film” but didn’t stay in touch.
Some of Bryan Kohberger’s college classmates say they have been told to only talk to police about their interactions with him because they could potentially be called as character witnesses in the case.

“I don’t know much about her family or anything. She was a very sweet girl, we got along great,” she said.
Amanda Kohberger was “pleasant to work with,” according to Boon, and she “did a terrific job acting.”
“I know she had tried to get into movies. On low-budget movies, there’s a bunch of scummy kind of guys, but she was smart enough not to go for that stuff,” he said.
