Law enforcement sources told that while the suspect’s motive is still unknown. They are not ruling out the possibility that he came to New York City specifically to attack police officers at the Times Square ball drop. Several law enforcement officials have confirmed that the suspect is 19-year-old Trevor Bickford from Wells, Maine. Sources say he arrived in New York on December 29 via Amtrak.
