Who is Romiane Mundle? Romaine Mundle grew up as a native Edmontonian. During his time with our Under-16s in 2018/19, the midfielder showed off his inventiveness by setting up a lot of goals. He attended Enfield Grammar School, where he was a part of the team that won the Middles*x Cup. Since he was born and bred in Edmonton, Mundle can be considered a true “local guy” in Tottenham.

While at Enfield Grammar School, he played for Tottenham’s Under-16 team and contributed to the school’s Middles*x Cup victory. Although Conte has shown interest in Mundle, the Spurs have yet to promote him to the first team. Just before Spurs’ 3-1 Premier League victory over West Ham in March, the left winger was called up to train with the first team at Hotspur Way under the Italian manager, as mentioned above.

The English wunderkind is still training with the first squad, as evidenced by the photographs above, in which he can be seen playing alongside veterans such as Matt Doherty, Oliver Skipp and Dejan Kulusevski at Hotspur Way. Unfortunately, Conte has yet to give Mundle his debut, but if he continues to shine for the Under-21 team, that day won’t be far off. According to Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham has offered Mundle a new contract in an effort to ward off interest from Eintracht Frankfurt and Koln, but negotiations are ongoing and he has not signed it.
Since the teen’s present contracts will finish at the end of the season, a choice must be made. Mundle has played 22 times for Tottenham’s U-21 team this season contributing to two goals and two assists. After 35 games in the U-18 division, where he scored four goals and assisted on nine more, Mundle was promoted to the U-21 squad.
