The majority of the roommates took their families along for the short trip, judging by the pictures.

Reports indicate that the cast honored Vinny Guadagnino’s birthday on the current trip after he had complained throughout the season that his birthday was never acknowledged. On the same day that Pauly’s episode aired, Vinny turned 35. He was ousted from Dancing With the Stars last week. Since many of his roommates posted birthday images on social media, it was likely that the occasion occurred during the most recent filming trip. The cast will also visit the Carolinas, Santa Barbara, Connecticut and Los Angeles during this season, giving viewers, even more, to look forward to.

There have been several shifts from the original series when the original actors began filming together again for the spinoff series. The cast used to spend their vacations going out and hunting for hookups, but now they usually bring their families along on every trip. On set, it’s not uncommon to see Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi, Deena Cortese, or Jenni “Jwoww” Farley bring their kids. Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino and his wife Lauren, who is expecting their first child, often take their young son with them on vacation.
