The Glory a forthcoming South Korean revenge drama, will reunite Song Hye Kyo with Descendants of the Sun screenwriter Kim Eun Sook. In December 2022, Netflix will debut the series.
The Glory is an upcoming South Korean revenge drama series produced by Netflix and written by Descendants of the Sun creator Kim Eun Sook. Ahn Gil Ho, whose credits include the dramas Happiness, Stranger, and Memories of the Alhambra, is directing the series.
The Glory Netflix Release date
Since filming took longer than expected, we weren’t anticipating The Glory’s release on Netflix until late 2022. The release date for The Glory on Netflix has been widely reported to be December 30th, 2022, and now that promotional materials and an official teaser trailer have been made available, we know this to be true.

The Glory Storyline
In high school, Moon Dong Eun had a strong interest in architecture. However, Moon Dong Eun is compelled to leave school after being the victim of a brutally violent attack at the hands of her bullies. After some time has passed, the bully has married, started a family, and his son or daughter attends the same elementary school where Moon Dong Eun now works as a homeroom teacher. Years of planning have culminated in Moon Don Eun’s plan for vengeance against her school bullies and classmates who did nothing to stop them.

One of South Korea’s most famous actresses is named Song Hye-kyo. Through her starring appearances in shows like Autumn in My Heart, All In, Full House, That Winter, the Wind Blows, Descendants of the Sun, Encounter, and Now, We Are Breaking Up, she became a household name around the world.
Lee Do Hyun as Joo Yeo Jung
South Korean actor Lim Dong-hyun is also known by his stage name, Lee Do-hyun. The films Hotel del Luna, 18 Again, Sweet Home, and Youth of May made him a household name.
Im Ji Yeon as Park Yeon Jin
South Korean actress Lim Ji-yeon. Lim made her feature film debut in the lead role of the sensual thriller Obsessed in 2014. Prior to that, she had appeared in several stage productions and short films.

Where are they at in making The Glory?
Leading lady Song Hye Kyo announced on Instagram on February 3rd, 2022, that she has received the scripts for episodes 1 and 2 of The Glory. She just wrote “Start” in the photo’s description, so we can only assume production on the drama has begun.
K-drama Twitter accounts started announcing The Glory’s filming wrap date on August 16th.
Upcoming Netflix Original #TheGlory,starring #SongHyeKyo and #LeeDoHyun wraps up filming.
The drama is scheduled to premier in the first half of 2023.
