Damani Whitlock, the point guard for ELAC, is a multi-talented athlete who also performs admirably in other sports. Damani now plays football for the Texarkana Eagles at Texas A&M University–Texarkana, where he is also pursuing a degree in civil engineering.

Bryan Penn Johnson comes in dead last. The 7-foot-1 center has committed to play for the Cal Poly Mustangs. As if that weren’t enough, he also received a full scholarship and a private dorm room.

John Mosley

John Mosley

The ELAC Huskies are ready to enter their 11th season under Coach Mosley’s leadership, and he shows no signs of slowing down. His commitment and enthusiasm for the club are unmatched, so it’s a positive thing. He was a Husky player himself before he coached the team to nine consecutive appearances in the CCCAA State Playoffs.

After graduating from Washington Prep, Coach Mosley went on to play “two years as team captain and starting point guard” for ELAC’s basketball team. During his time there, he established an imprint on the team that would follow him into his coaching career.

“Mosley led the state of California in assists (11.1), won two All-Conference awards, and was named to the All-State honorable mention team.” Now that he’s back, leading them, in a lot of ways, Season 3 should be exciting.

Rob Robinson

In the wake of the 2021–2022 academic year, Robert “Rob” Robinson, the Huskies’ assistant coach, departed ELAC. He is currently the MiraCosta Community College men’s basketball team’s head coach. Oceanside, California is home to the institute. The MiraCosta Spartans’ coach is dedicated to leading his team to success on the collegiate level in California.
