After its initial airing on NBC in 1989, “Quantum Leap” continued for another five seasons. Beckett was played by Scott Bakula. Al, a time traveler from Sam’s own timeline, played by Dean Stockwell, appeared to Sam in the form of a hologram that only Sam could see and hear. It was in November of 2021 that Stockwell, at the age of 85, sadly passed away.

Herbert “Magic” Williams (Ernie Hudson), a no-nonsense career military guy who is well aware that his superiors will not be pleased upon learning of the breach of etiquette, is in charge of the operation. Ian Wright (Mason Alexander Park), who heads up the AI division “Ziggy” and Jenn Chou (Nanrisa Lee), who oversees digital security, round out the headquarters team.
