In the fall of 2017, Charnas debuted her first clothing line in partnership with Nordstrom. On September 25, 2017, her debut clothing line, Something Navy X Treasure & Bond, was released in 52 Nordstrom locations across the United States and Canada. The husband of actress Arielle Charnas has issued an apology to her supporters after he defended his and the handling of her coronavirus diagnosis with comments that were offensive to some.

On Friday morning, Brandon Charnas posted a series of apologetic videos on his wife’s Instagram account. His wife is the prominent influencer behind the fashion and lifestyle business Something Navy.

Brandon requested to make a public statement on the recent events. As Arielle, who recently faced backlash for visiting the Hamptons after learning she tested positive for COVID-19, explained in an Instagram Story video, “how he reacted to a message or messages that he received that really upset him.”

While posing as his wife, Brandon took to Twitter to express contrition for “some of the things that I’ve said over the previous few weeks.”

“At the time, it may have felt like I was defending my family and protecting my family, but I realize now how stupid what I did was and how offensive it was and I’m sorry,” he continued. “I was caught in the heat of the moment.”

“I just want anyone that I offended to know it’s not something I meant, I didn’t mean any of the things,” he added. “Saying them to try and hurt someone back that hurt me is wrong and that is not the type of role model that I want to be for my two daughters as they continue to grow up.”

After Arielle tested positive for the novel coronavirus, Brandon expressed his displeasure on social media. The family had relied on a doctor friend to provide a quick and easy diagnosis via a drive-through test at an urgent care facility in Manhattan that didn’t provide the same convenient service to all patients.

After receiving backlash for bragging about her “privilege” online, Something Navy’s founder posted an emotional video in which she apologized to “anyone that I accidentally damaged in the course of my decision-making.”

She continued by saying that she had quarantined herself for 14 days after experiencing the first symptoms, despite the fact that the time between when she tested positive (March 18) and when she left her New York City home for the Hamptons did not match the CDC-mandated self-isolation protocol.
