As Arielle, who recently faced backlash for visiting the Hamptons after learning she tested positive for COVID-19, explained in an Instagram Story video, “how he reacted to a message or messages that he received that really upset him.”

While posing as his wife, Brandon took to Twitter to express contrition for “some of the things that I’ve said over the previous few weeks.”

“At the time, it may have felt like I was defending my family and protecting my family, but I realize now how stupid what I did was and how offensive it was and I’m sorry,” he continued. “I was caught in the heat of the moment.”

“I just want anyone that I offended to know it’s not something I meant, I didn’t mean any of the things,” he added. “Saying them to try and hurt someone back that hurt me is wrong and that is not the type of role model that I want to be for my two daughters as they continue to grow up.”

After Arielle tested positive for the novel coronavirus, Brandon expressed his displeasure on social media. The family had relied on a doctor friend to provide a quick and easy diagnosis via a drive-through test at an urgent care facility in Manhattan that didn’t provide the same convenient service to all patients.

After receiving backlash for bragging about her “privilege” online, Something Navy’s founder posted an emotional video in which she apologized to “anyone that I accidentally damaged in the course of my decision-making.”
