After releasing the remaining controversies Netflix’s new series Ancient Apocalypse got huge popularity in a very short time because of its story. This series is based on Graham Hancock’s theories. If you are fond of documentary series and watched complete movies then it is obvious to be curious about its next installment.
Here we are going to discuss the next season of Ancient Apocalypse. Is it renewed for the second time or not? If renewed then who will be there in the cast, and what should be the plot? So to know more about the upcoming session scroll down and read here.
Why is the Ancient Apocalypse So controversial?
Graham Hancock a British writer who is known for his theories-based books also is the major reason for controversy. His books are most profitable for peers even if peers give them positive reviews. There are several reasons behind the series. During his beginning, Hancock was accepted by his industry, neither as a scientist nor as an archaeologist.
But he wrote many books based on lost civilizations and now people are interested to know about those societies. According to the new series writer’s aim is to make us aware of this advanced civilization. Ancient mythology and his own speculation give us too much knowledge about civilization.

Is Ancient Apocalypse Renewed for Second Season?
The first season premiered last month, and after this different storyline movie, the audience is awaited for the second part. Yet no announcement will be done by Netflix and film creators. But if we read Hancock’s statement he said that the first season was prepared in two years, so if there will be a second season then at least one year later in the last of 2023 it will be premiered.
If we talk about raw material for the second season there in the novel there is enough material. There are more possibilities for the second season.
What Should the Ancient Apocalypse Season 2 Storyline be?
You know very well the Netflix new series is based on the Graham theories, which was released on 10 November 2022. According to the writer’s theory cataclysm is the main reason for destroying ice age civilization. This civilization introduced us to agriculture and other important technologies like architecture. He wanted to show us several pieces of evidence that proved these lost civilizations.
And now archaeologists have not discovered these reported civilizations. Hancock alleged many archaeologists are misleading including experts in Pacific geography and archaeology, such as Patrick Nunn, from the University of the Sunshine Coast; Mark McCoy, from the Southern Methodist University; and Augustine Kohler, the acting director of the Federated States of Micronesia Office of National Archives and Cultural and Historic Preservation, “incredibly insulting to the ancestors of the Pohnpeian [islanders] that did create these structures.”
The journalist explained how he “spent decades searching for proof of this lost civilization” and that he wants to “challenge the traditional views of human history”.
The Netflix show Ancient Apocalypse is probably one of the most important shows to come out in a very long time.
Not because what it presents is certainly factual, but because of how it displays the toxic mindset and gatekeeping that goes on in academia with so called “experts”.

Stuart Heritage at The Guardian has branded the series “the most dangerous show on Netflix,”. He wrote: “It whispers to the conspiracy theorist in all of us. And Hancock is such a compelling host that he’s bound to create a few more in his wake.”
Archaeologist Flint Dibble stated that “lacking in evidence to support Hancock’s theory”, while there is “a plethora of evidence” the dates Hancock gives are not correct they clash with other civilizations. For example, the Megalithic Temples of Malta were made in 3600-2500 BC, but Maltese archaeologists denied this. Many other archaeologists claimed that the evidence presented by Hancock is not perfect, and the civilization, Society for American Archaeology objected to Netflix reclassifying the series according to science.
Why don’t you put your money where your mouth is and support real archaeology being done? You know me and my work. Go on, if you really love the past, encourage your followers to support it. You too. You’ve made millions. How much of it helps archaeology?https://t.co/4ilzTJbLxK
