Fans Comments on Social Media to Florida's 45-38 Loss Against Florida State

Black Friday marked a new low in the annual rivalry between the Florida Gators and the Florida State Seminoles as the Gators were defeated by a score of 45 to 38. One of the most exciting and noteworthy contests in the rivalry’s recent history.

Both the Gators and the Seminoles started slowly in the first half, trading turnovers and touchdowns back and forth. One of the Gators’ stars was Ricky Pearsall who scored twice and rushed for over 100 yards in the opening half. That’s good enough for a 24-21 advantage at the break.

Neither half was kind to the Orange and Blue. The defense was unable to stave off Florida State’s offense even after the return of Ventrell Miller from his first-half suspension. The Seminoles’ rush game (particularly outside the tackles) and Jordan Travis’s performance were both outstanding.
