Musk is known for being an overbearing employer who expects his employees to put in long hours. Bloomberg reports that he informed Twitter staff to plan on putting in 80-hour weeks. Musk, who is also the CEO of Tesla and Space X, reportedly instructed employees earlier this year to get back to work or look for other employment.

Musk has been accused of “rage-firing” employees at Tesla, a charge he has consistently refuted. According to a New York Times investigation, Space X fired the individuals responsible for writing and distributing the letter denouncing Musk.
