Something that started as a challenge was seriously accomplished by the Philadelphia man and audiences were present to celebrate his triumph. His dedication to rotisserie chicken cannot be explained in words because he just proved it through his action. The world has cheered for him and now it is all about celebration.
Philadelphia Man Had The Idea 40 Rotisseries in 40 Days As Food Challenge
You all may be eager to know who is the man behind this unique challenge. There is no need to search anymore as his identity is known to all. Alexander Tominsky aka Chicken Man is a 31-years old man who accepted the food challenge of eating 40 rotisserie chickens for 40 consecutive days and embarked on his mission on 28th September 2022.
He started documenting his challenge to his followers on social media and soon garnered millions of views throughout the process. This bizarre challenge made people think about their eating habits but things were ultimately successful in the end.
“I would like to Invite you all on a journey that I am on. I am eating a rotisserie chicken every day for 30 days. Today is day 11. I will keep you all updated as I get closer to my goal. Thank you”. This is one of the many posts that Tominsky has shared.

Alexander is a waiter at a famous local steakhouse, Barclay Prime who just had the idea of accepting this challenge and thought that “it seemed like the right thing to do”. He got viral after documenting the entire journey on Twitter and then the whole internet along with the citizens of Philadelphia became interested in being a part of this mission. Everyone was supporting Tominsky to stay true to his goal and finally, he did!
The Final Feat of The Challenge Was Achieved on 6th November
Alexander has been eating store-bought chicken every day ever since September 28th, 2022. He didn’t fail to meet his promise and continued to follow his promise. The entire process was shared on social media which made all the fans interested in this journey. He went viral for obvious reasons and the internet sensation decided to mark the final day of his rotisserie chicken eating challenge with all of his supporters.
“Come watch me eat an entire rotisserie chicken,” the tweet was made by him on Oct. 27. “November 6th will be the 40th consecutive day that I have eaten an entire rotisserie chicken.”
A fan even printed out the tweet and stapled the page to a telephone pole to gather more people.
On 6th November 2022, he had his final rotisserie chicken, his 40th meal at the Philly Pier, and a huge number of crowds turned up to support him on his last day of the challenge. This was a makeshift venue where Tomisky invited the citizens to witness it and despite vague directions, people reached the location.
He made sure that this was “not a party” but a get-together and it will begin at 12 pm sharp. Thus, supporters gathered and after almost 40 minutes, the restaurant worker had his very last morsel and revealed his victory to the attendees.
Folks in Philadelphia were beyond happy to attend such an impromptu event on a lazy Sunday afternoon. It seemed like supporters were celebrating the success of the Chicken man along with him.
Later, Alexander shared the last post of his challenge and the video has got over 125,000 likes as of now. Of course, he had no reason to be not happy after unlocking such a massive feat. Though he will not be awarded or honored for this weird challenge, the supporters have thoroughly enjoyed winning over hearts and setting new goals.
After the success, the supporters couldn’t stop praising him. One supporter wrote, “Absolute legend. I feel blessed to have been there today”.

The photo of Alexander on a chair holding the clean plate also got viral and some captioned it as “Philly Chicken Man for President” and one other fan captioned the same photo as “The GOAT”.
Tomisky even interviewed with the New York Times and stated, “much of the world is in pain, so he must do something that brings him pain to make others smile,” “Sounds weird,” “But I just felt like I was doing this for a very important reason”.
