Gossip Girl Reboot Season 2 Behind the Scenes Photos: Check Them Out!
On October 27th, HBO Max shared a handful of fresh images from the show. Students from the Upper East Side have returned to Constance Billard and St. Jude for the second semester of junior year and judging by the expressions on their faces it won’t be a quiet one.
The crew and actors were spotted on location in New York City on March 16, 2022. The cast of Season 2 looks amazing in the photos taken by the paparazzi: Jordan Alexander, Savannah Lee Smith, Zión Moreno, Whitney Peak, Emily Alyn Lynd, Evan Mock and Thomas Doherty.
What does the rest of the cast think about the Gossip Girl bombshell happening so quickly?
If you saw the new Gossip Girl you already know that in contrast to the original series the identity of the enigmatic figure was revealed rather early on in the reboot. Whitney Peak, who plays Blair Waldorf in the upcoming revival of Gossip Girl opened out about the significance of the show’s big announcement.
“That took you by surprise, didn’t it? When I first read the script, I thought, “What the heck? Why do we know it right away?” “in a chat with The Lateral, she revealed. “Once you put yourself in the position of the audience, though, I think your perspective shifts. They learn something that the rest of the cast is in the dark about. The intimacy is enhanced.”
What will happen in the Gossip Girl Reboot Season 2?
Kate Keller and the other teachers at Constance Billiard and St. Jude a.k.a. the masterminds behind the new Gossip Girl exposed the identity of everyone who had submitted an anonymous tip at the end of the first season. They made a rash move but they meant to terminate their time on Gossip Girl.
This is until Kate makes a deal with Julien, the most powerful kid on the Upper East Side. She says she’ll tell GG everything she knows with the caveat that some of it might not be real.
After being completely shafted by Monet’s mother Camila, Kate agrees to Julien’s agreement and tweets something that will be exposed later in Season 2. We can only speculate but we have a feeling this plotline may cause even more trouble in the UES in the future.

Season 2 will be more faithful to the original CW show, creator Joshua Safran told. As he put it, “if folks didn’t finish the first season or for whatever reason desire a vibe that’s more reminiscent of the original, it’s definitely there” in the second season. It’s true what they say; it’s bigger; it’s faster; it’s meaner and it’s funnier.
Safran expressed his thoughts on the show’s future before season 2 was officially confirmed. While speaking with Harper’s Bazaar, he expressed his desire to continue the show. So that we wouldn’t have the same issue that the original show did in Season 3 when they had to go to college I set it up so that each season is a semester.
Which in retrospect was undoubtedly the best choice to make. Upon reflection, it becomes clear that additional time spent in secondary education would have been beneficial. If each season represents one semester and they are currently juniors they would enter higher education in the fifth season.
