Is Jeremy Clarkson Still Farming? What Will Happen In Season 2?

Is Jeremy Clarkson Still Farming

Is Jeremy Clarkson Still Farming

We’ll be honest: before the release of Clarkson’s Farm, we believed that Jeremy Clarkson trading in vehicles for cattle would be disastrous. However, surprise and behold, the program turned out to be a delightful and amusing view into rural farm life, complete with characters so endearing that gave Jezza a run for his money when it debuted on Amazon’s Prime Video in June 2021.

Even the host of The Grand Tour seems to have been taken aback by how much he enjoyed this new way of life despite how challenging it was. The program achieves precisely what it promises, chronicling Clarkson’s life as the ecstatic proprietor of a 1,000-acre Cotswolds farm.

But because he has zero understanding or experience in agriculture, he is dependent on his crew. They are ready to teach him the ropes but if something goes wrong, they won’t be afraid to knock him down a peg or two as well. And a lot of things go wrong. Fans are eagerly awaiting season two’s official release to learn what mischief the cast will get up to next.

Is Jeremy Clarkson Still Farming

Here’s everything you need to know.

Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 Release Date: When Will The Show Return?

The second season of Clarkson’s Farm was officially announced in July 2021 and production got underway right afterward. Dan Grabiner, the Director of UK Originals at Amazon Studios commented on the announcement: “Jeremy’s uncensored love letter to farming can be found in Clarkson’s Farm.

The genuineness, charm and humor of the show along with the amazing people of the farm are what has made it such a phenomenal success with viewers.” The announcement was subsequently confirmed in a joint video by Jeremy and his right-hand man, Kaleb Cooper.

Filming started and lasted for a full year, ending in July 2022. This was corroborated by Clarkson who noted the production time while showcasing the brand-new ponds he dug himself on Instagram.

When a curious viewer enquired, “Any news on season two?” Jeremy answered: “Mid-July sees the end of filming. So, early in the new year, it ought to be edited and ready to go.” Expect a release date in 2023 as a result, hopefully, closer to the first part of the year depending on how long post-production takes. When we find out for sure, we’ll let you know.

Clarkson’s Farm Season 2 plot: What’s Going To Happen?

Jeremy Clarkson’s farm is never peaceful. Jeremy said before the show premiered, “I’ve owned the farm since 2008 but haven’t been involved.” When the villager who ran it retired, I thought, I can do that.

“I assumed seeds, weather and food sprang from the ground. So I thought, “That’s not hard” but it’s incredibly hard, heartbreaking and poorly rewarded. So I thought, “If someone films me doing it, that’ll help.”

He’s learned the hard way that farming is more than planting seeds. The coronavirus crisis threw first-season production and farming into turmoil. The lockdown had a terrible effect on agriculture development and the farm’s capacity to generate a profit which Jeremy revealed on camera. Excessive drought made it impossible to turn up the ground and heavy rain made the muck too wet to use.

Despite difficulties, the group succeeded. Grabiner teased season two drama at the Edinburgh TV Festival in August 2022. “We’re editing now and it’s looking good. More Kaleb, Gerald. Gerald is clearer now. Every season, you’ll grasp more of Gerald’s words.”

It’s going fine. And it’s amazing to see Kaleb on TV for the first time,” he added. “He’s real, he was a tractor driver who worked close. New talent, especially expert, true talent can explode with the correct vehicle and approach to the event. Observing his progress has been a highlight of the show.

Heatwaves, storms and even snow are likely to slam the UK in 2021 and 2022. 98% of 4,500 Amazon reviewers gave season one five stars thus season two was nearly assured. The show was said to be scrapped but a few awards later, it’s evident viewers have fallen for the new, rural Clarkson – and his agricultural brothers. Jeremy also “accidentally bought a tavern” after purchasing a brewery.

Clarkson’s Farm Season 2: Who Will Be In The Cast?

Confirmed! Clarkson is back with the Diddly Squat Farm team. Jeremy Clarkson will be the series’ star. Clarkson’s Farm. He’d be missed. The show’s biggest star was farmhand Kaleb Cooper. The teen’s desire for a perm, hate of driving in London and confidence in yelling at a TV host won the nation over.

Kaleb, who knows what he’s doing on Diddly Squat, isn’t a lover of city life which provides for fantastic banter with dumb Jeremy. The young farmer said on This Morning, “I’m the boss.” “He’s my boss and a friend. He doesn’t listen to me but he likes farming which helps. When he makes a mistake, I yell at him and get irritated.”

Clarkson’s farming assistant’s progress between seasons will be intriguing. Considering Clarkson’s statements things may have been tough on the farm. In an interview with The Sun, the Who Wants to be a Millionaire host compared the government’s neglect of the farming business to ‘ethnic cleansing “Kaleb’s terrific but I worry how he’ll afford his farm,” Clarkson remarked. “He’s up against hedge-fund managers who don’t want to farm it.”

Clarkson wants Britain to be 60% food self-sufficient. He urges consumers to buy British products, saying they’re greener and better quality. “Meat with a red tractor on it is British. Some poor Peak District sod was out at 3 am raising.”

Locally-made goods are sometimes more expensive but he urges people to buy them.“I urge [readers] to think, ‘Okay, it’s 5p extra to buy meat with a red tractor on it but I’m getting better food and aiding British farming.'” Lisa Hogan, Jeremy’s longtime girlfriend and Diddly Squat Farm Shop manager will join them.

“Cheerful” Charlie Ireland will keep Jeremy and the crew in line. Clarkson’s giant tractor may also return. What gives? Because first-look photographs have arrived of course. A helicopter joins the tractor. Kaleb will be involved but we don’t sure how.

Is There A Trailer For Clarkson’s Farm Season 2?

There isn’t an official trailer for Clarkson’s Farm season two yet but there are several ways to stay up to date on Diddly Squat’s most recent happenings. The farm now has its own Instagram account and Jeremy frequently updates his social media accounts.

We can all agree that the kind of healthy content we desire from this series is what happened when Kaleb acquired some new farm equipment in May 2022. Arya and Sansa, two dogs have been adopted by the family and they have been making their beer.

Jeremy first revealed his plans to expand the farm in January 2022, adding a 70-space parking lot and a 60-seat cafe. The council, however, turned down his motion after receiving 53 objections in total vs just 12 letters of favor.

Because the cafe would be “out of keeping” with the surrounding Cotswolds area which is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, the West Oxon District Council denied approval (AONB).

According to Joan Desmond, a council planning officer, the proposed construction “would not be sustainable and would not be acceptable or consistent in scale with the existing farming business or its open countryside site” because of its siting, design, scale and location. The rural character, scenic beauty and tranquility of the area will be negatively impacted by the proposed development, according to her.
