The army come forward to investigate deeply and a surprising announcement did by the army.  They announced that Patrick was not killed by enemies but shot b some other soldiers, who were with him.

All the other soldiers on the ridgeline suspected that that’s exactly what happened.” According to the army, he was shot three times in the head from a very close range, and no signs were spotted of enemy fire. The question arises why American soldiers killed Patrick.

Army doctors said his body was suspicious and they failed to get some clue from his wounded. Because what they find is, that “the medical evidence did not match up with the scenario as described.” But doctors said he was shot from only 10 yards away and his other thing of personal use like his military dress was burned. Soldiers who were present there at that time were ordered to keep quiet.

Before death, he had a plan to put his view with Noam Chomsky on the television show. In 2007, it proved that “Army attorneys sent each other congratulatory e-mails for keeping criminal investigators at bay as the Army conducted an internal friendly-fire investigation that resulted in administrative, or non-criminal, punishments.”

“This isn’t about Pat, this is about what they did to Pat and what they did to a nation,” said Tillman’s mother. “By making up these false stories you’re diminishing their true heroism. It may not be pretty but that’s not what war is all about. It’s ugly, it’s bloody, it’s painful. And to write these glorious tales is really a disservice to the nation.”
