Time for a Wizards game in Washington, DC!
Tonight, the Wizards welcome the Detroit Pistons to Verizon Center. Recently, Washington lost in overtime to the Cleveland Cavaliers, and the Pistons had dropped two straight.
Overall Washington is stronger than Detroit but the Pistons have a youthful team with championship aspirations. The 2021 and 2022 first-round picks Jaden Ivey and Cade Cunningham will provide a formidable defensive challenge for the Wizards.

The Wizards’ loss to the Cavaliers was in part due to their poor performance on the glass. The Cavaliers converted 16 offensive rebounds into scoring opportunities.

Corey Kispert’s left ankle sprain hasn’t healed yet, thus he’s still listed as questionable. As of right now, he has yet to make an appearance on the court for this season. It’s still early, so the Wizards will be prepared to absorb him into their ranks whenever he shows up.
