P-Valley a drama on Starz has been picked up for season 3 of 10 episodes. The series is made by Lionsgate Television.
From creator, showrunner, and executive producer Katori Hall comes P-Valley, an hourlong drama that follows the lives of the hopeful, the lost, the broken, the ballers, the beautiful, and the cursed who frequent the “small strip club that could.”
Season 2 of the show introduced viewers to an all-new Pynk, one that fought to stay open in the face of a pandemic witnessed a struggle for the throne, and possibly welcomed some fresh blood into the locker room. With nightfall in the made-up Mississippi town of Chucalissa, Pynk’s audience was drawn even farther into the lives of his characters.
Season 2 of P-Valley features an all-star cast that includes, among others, Nicco Annan (as Uncle Clifford), Elarica Johnson (Autumn Night), Brandee Evans (Mercedes), Shannon Thornton (Miss Mississippi), J. Alphonse Nicholson (Lil’ Murda), Parker Sawyers (Andre), Dan J. Johnson (Corbin), Morocco Omari (Big L.), and Dominic DeVore (Duffy).

The show’s deep, dynamic, and delightfully flawed characters are a love letter to underrepresented populations in the American South, and it makes me so happy to know that people all over the world have taken to the show.

Starz reports that season two of the program has averaged approximately 10.3 million viewers across linear, VOD and streaming platforms in the United States, an increase of +23% from season one in the same time span.
Starz’s head of original programming Kathryn Busby gushed, “P-Valley continues to keep fans on the edge of their seats as it depicts the subtleties of the Mississippi Delta with an incredible amount of humanity and craftsmanship.” “Critics and viewers alike have fallen in love with these multifaceted characters who take the drama beyond the superficial. What Katori has in store for us in Season 3 is the subject of much anticipation.
