It has been widely reported that Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis had broken up and in response, the two have issued a joint statement.
The couple, who were together from 2011 until 2020 and have two children together, released a statement on Monday in response to a story published by The Daily Mail in which a woman described as a former nanny for the two stars allegedly disclosed private details about the time leading up to and surrounding their split.
A joint statement from the parents was given which said, “As parents, it is tremendously heartbreaking to find that a former nanny of our two young children would choose to make such false and scurrilous charges about us publicly.” Her campaign of harassment against us and our families, friends and coworkers which has lasted for the past 18 months, has unfortunately reached its peak.
We shall keep our attention on raising and protecting our children in the earnest hope that she will finally choose to leave our family alone, the statement said.
The woman whose identity has not been revealed spoke to the British media about their contacts while Wilde was dating Harry Styles, with whom she worked on the set of her film “Don’t Worry Darling.”
Wilde had previously told Vanity Fair that her romance with Styles began before her separation from Jason Sudeikis, with whom she shares children Daisy, 5, and Otis, 8.
This divorce has been acrimonious between the two of them. During her presentation of her current film at CinemaCon in Las Vegas, the “Booksmart” filmmaker mentioned being served court documents by Sudeikis’ legal team over custody of their children, a move she called “vicious.”
Sudeikis “had no prior knowledge of the time or place that the package would have been delivered,” a source familiar with the situation said at the time.
