Mike Hill and Cynthia Bailey have decided to part ways. After only two years of marriage, the Real Housewives of Atlanta alum, 55, has filed for divorce from the TV host, 52.

In an interview, Bailey discussed the breakup “God never makes a mistake, so you can trust him. In my heart, I know that Mike’s presence in my life was predestined. I dove in headfirst and gave it everything I had.”

“While I’m sad that our journey together is over, I’ll always treasure the relationship we shared and the wonderful times we had together. I pray that one day I’ll discover love again. The future will unfold as it must, and I welcome whatever it brings with open arms.”

Bailey stated his commitment to his marriage by saying, “Once you’ve caught a man’s eye, you must do everything it takes to keep him. You owe it to your husband to keep him satisfied. So, basically, I’m just getting used to the fact that everything has changed, and I’m still giving myself time to recharge by focusing on myself (something I had plenty of before the epidemic) while also making sure to spend quality time with my partner. We’re doing great, though, just the two of us and Mike.”
