Dead to Me Final Season’s First Trailer and Premiere Date Announced

Dead to Me, a Netflix original series brings back Jen and Judy for one last hilarious adventure. Dead to Me Season 3 is a twisty tv drama, which stars Christina Applegate as Jen and Linda Cardellini as Judy, which will soon premiere, marking the end of the duo’s antics. Season three of Liz Feldman’s show, which she also created, premieres on November 17.

For its Tudum promotion on Saturday, Netflix revealed the premiere date and provided a sneak peek at the upcoming season. In the season three finale, Jen and Judy were involved in a severe car accident after being hit by Ben (James Marsden). He was under the influence of alcohol and was once again in danger of being caught for the murder of his brother Steve (also played by Marsden).

The preview, which summarises the first two seasons, concludes with Jen and Judy in the emergency room, having a mild swearing match with the ER nurse. While in the hospital with a neck brace, Jen (Applegate) says, “Fu*k me so hard.”

Starting with Jen’s husband being killed in a hit-and-run accident, the series follows Jen as she attends a grief support group and forms a volatile friendship with Judy. After premiering in 2019, the show quickly gained widespread attention and earned Applegate a nomination for best actress at the Emmys. In 2020, Applegate and Cardellini were also considered for the award.

In 2020, after the release of Dead to Me Season 2, Netflix decided to renew the series for a third and final season.

The executive producers include Jessica Elbaum and Will Ferrell for Gloria Sanchez Productions, Christie Smith, Lionel Applegate, Adam McKay, and Feldman, who has an overall deal with the streaming service.
