Missouri’s KANSAS CITY — After Monday night’s 30-29 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs Las Vegas Raiders receiver Davante Adams shoved down a credentialed person carrying equipment on the field.

Adams expressed regret about the incident. While at his locker, Adams explained, “I want to apologize to the guy, some guy was running off the field and he ran like jumped in front of me coming off the field and I bumped into him, kind of pushed him, and he ended up on the ground.”

Adams, who was acquired from the Green Bay Packers in a massive offseason trade may be subject to disciplinary action by the NFL. The loss dropped the Raiders to 1-4 on the season and they now have a bye week to reflect on how they blew a 17-0 lead in the second quarter.

Minutes after participating in the Raiders’ final offensive play with 46 seconds left on the clock, Adams who had three catches for 124 yards and two touchdowns (58 and 48 yards), appeared visibly frustrated as he walked off the field.

Adams was all alone downfield on fourth-and-1 from the Raiders’ 46-yard line when quarterback Derek Carr threw a bomb his way. The pass was incomplete because Adams and the slot receiver Hunter Renfrow collided while running their patterns.

Replay showed that Adams had gained a first down with a toe-tap sideline catch at the Kansas City 39-yard line but the call was overturned. Adams’s first step onto the court occurred while he was juggling the ball.

I don’t want to criticize the officials too much but I thought I was in,” he said. When I saw it, I thought it was a great opportunity but they examined it and did not agree.
