On Saturday night October 8 a young kid from Lobosillo a town in central Murcia fell off a bucking bronco mechanical bull and tragically lost his life.
The incident occurred at 10 p.m. on Calle San Antonio, where the birthday boy was having a street party, and the boy collapsed after getting off the ride due to a heart attack.
Although it is unclear if the boy was killed by the impact when he hit the ground or by something else entirely, witnesses say that the child was unable to hold on to the bull correctly and was flung off.
According to several eyewitnesses, the kid may have gone into cardiorespiratory arrest before he even got off the bike.

“It is very clear that the problem was not the mechanical bull,” said one resident.
The youngster was pronounced dead at the site by the paramedics. His body is currently being examined by forensic pathologists at the Institute of Legal Medicine in Murcia.
A local man reportedly approached the City Council of Murcia for approval to hold his 50th birthday celebration smack dab in the middle of the road, complete with a temporary mechanical bull.
Despite being told no, it appears the man went ahead and held the party, inviting his loved ones and the people who lived nearby to share in the joy. Disciplinary action has been started against him “for not complying with the ordinance,” the City Council of Murcia says.
The Guardia Civil has begun an investigation to learn more about what happened and if the party’s organizers or the mechanical bull’s owner have any responsibility for the fatality.
