All 52 episodes from all four seasons are now available to stream in their entirety on Netflix in the United States. It’s important to note that the show has never been available on Netflix in any country other than the United States. The show did not do well at the box office and is therefore not available on any international streaming services.
The CW Canceled In The Dark Season 5

There were no talks about selling the show to another network implying that season 4 is the final season despite ending in a way that sets up future seasons. Perry Mattfeld discussed what a fifth season would have entailed for Murphy in an interview with Nerds and Beyond, saying:
“I think it would have been interesting to see where Murphy goes in Season 5.” Is she concerned about being caught? Is she just going to flee with Felix and see how long they can hide and, you know would we have seen her in a completely different location, would she just be alone? I’m not sure. There are so many possible outcomes. I believe I can say and this is just my opinion, that most of our fans will be happy, justified and proud of Murphy for finally getting her revenge after everything she’s had to go through over the last four seasons.”
When will Netflix Discontinue In The Dark Season 5?
Now that the series has ended and been made available on Netflix, the clock starts ticking toward the day it will be removed from the streaming service. In The Dark will stay on Netflix for the foreseeable future and leave after 5 years, as will all shows added via The CW deal.
