Barney Documentary Reveals Its Evil Side

Apparently, things weren’t always rosy in the Barney & Friends’ production office. According to the new docuseries “I Love You, You Hate Me,” there was a lot of animosity against the popular kids’ show that helped launch the careers of Demi Lovato and Selena Gomez.

As the purple dinosaur on Barney, actor Bob West got death threats, as seen in the teaser for the upcoming two-part series.

According to him, “they were brutal and explicit, death and dismemberment of my family.” “They were going to track me down, and when they did, they were going to kill me.”

Those three women (Sheryl Leach, Kathy Parker, and Dennis DeShazer) came up with the idea for the show back in 1992.
