On Sunday morning, ‘Basketball Wives actress Brooke Bailey’s daughter was murdered in a car accident in Memphis. After the death of 25-year-old Kayla Nicole Bailey, thousands of online condolences have been posted. Her mother wrote the sad words, “Forever my baby, Pretty Black aka Kayla Nicole Bailey,” in an Instagram post. It’s not farewell at all. Soon, your mother will return.

According to the Memphis Police Department collision report acquired by WREG, a local hairstylist named Bailey was killed in a wreck involving a tractor-trailer on I-40 westbound just west of Hollywood around 4 a.m. on Sunday.

They found her in the backseat of a blue Mercedes-Benz S550 that had been totaled and brought to MPD’s impound lot.

Driver Julius Weaver, 38, was pronounced dead at the scene. As a result of being transferred to Regional One, Bailey ultimately passed away.

The police say the motorist was “inattentive” when he crashed into the rear of a halted tractor-trailer. The investigation into the crash’s cause continues.

In another Instagram Story, Bailey shared an emotional message saying, “Our God! Our God, is so Faithful. I have been fasting and praying for days. I thought it was for something else. It was God preparing me for this moment in my life. Although, I was not prepared. I am grateful for 25 years he Blessed me to have HIS child. To love her, to hold her, to teach her, to comfort her. She was my happiness on earth.”
