BBC One’s “Call the Midwife” has been a favorite series of many viewers since 2012. The series first aired on January 15, 2012 with six episodes on BBC One.

Will there be Season 12 of Call the Midwife?
Reportedly the series is renewed till season 13. So fans, Cheer Up! According to BBC, Call the Midwife is confirmed in the UK through 2024 which means we will also have seasons 12 and 13. These seasons should also have 8 episodes each and a Christmas special.
The writer, creator and executive producer of the show Heidi Thomas revealed on the further renewals of the show, “It’s an incredible privilege to be able to look back on a decade of Call the Midwife and yet know that our journey is still very far from over. We are thrilled to be going on for a few more years! Like Nonnatus House itself, we have a proud past but an even more exciting future – full of old favorites, fresh faces, higher hemlines, new ideas. When Can We Expect Call the Midwife Season 12 to be on Netflix?
As per UKCastingNews filming for the twelfth season started in March this year following the same pattern as in earlier seasons.
If the new season follows the same release format then Call the Midwife Season 12 will premiere early next year and by late 2023 it will be dropped on Netflix.
The show’s earlier seasons generally aired around September, so we can expect season 12 of the show to start streaming on Netflix by September 2023.
Coming to the United Kingdom viewers it is not clear when the new seasons of the show will stream on Netflix UK. Generally, they have been getting new seasons nearly two years following their initial premiering which means the UK Netflix users may not be able to see season 12 before 2025.
But the new season will be streamed on the BBC iPlayer. If you don’t have a TV license you can watch seasons 9 and 10 on BritBox.
