A Plague Tale: Requiem-Gameplay Overview Trailer

A Plague Tale Requiem

Hugo and Amicia’s story keeps going in A Plague Tale Requiem as they face new dangers in a new land. So far, we’ve seen that this new place is very different, with its wide-open spaces and beautiful beaches. There are also more rats, which greatly differs from the first game.

We’ve seen a lot of rats in the footage we’ve seen so far. Hugo seems likely to get even stronger over time, and Amicia will have a big say in whether he uses his powers for good or evil.

This page is regularly updated with new information about A Plague Tale: Requiem so that you can always know what’s going on. As more information comes out, we’ll add it here. This includes the release date, the platforms it will be available on and details about how to play.

Trailers

Since it was first shown off in 2021, A Plague Tale: Requiem has had a few trailers. The most recent one, which you can watch above, shows us the best gameplay and visuals and even tells us when the game will come out. Check it out to see what new weapons and skills Hugo and Amicia have been given.

When is A Plague Tale: Requiem set?

As you play A Plague Tale: Requiem, you’ll go further south in France. This means there will be coasts and a very different landscape from the first game. As France gives way to more Mediterranean styles and cultures, there are more ship docks, busy markets, and rocky places. Asobo Studio wrote a great post on the Xbox Wire blog about some of the places you’ll visit. Take a look if you want to find out more about the setting of this unique and exciting sequel. Check out the latest release of Bayonetta 3.

Gameplay

So far, A Plague Tale: Requiem’s gameplay looks great. It’s a lot like the first game, but it’s been made bigger and Amicia now has new weapons like the crossbow. Hugo’s powers have also grown, and he can now use large groups of rats to kill enemies. Hugo now has a new skill that lets him sense enemies in a certain area. This is a big change. He does this by using the rats’ sense of smell, which lets him “feel” enemies even when they are behind walls. You can sneak or set up traps and kills with this skill.

A Plague Tale Requiem Gameplay

This game will focus on stealth as the first one did. Decoys, smoke bombs, and other tools are often used. Amicia holds Hugo’s hand, guiding him through groups of enemies as they search. Since the end of A Plague Tale: Innocence, Amicia’s skills have improved, making stealth kills look much more brutal.

So far, that’s all we know about A Plague Tale: Requiem. As more information about the game comes out, we’ll add it to this page. We know when the game will come out, so we won’t have to wait too long to play it unless there is a delay.
