Dylan Dreyer Biography
Dylan was born on August 2, 1981 in New Jersey, United States. She went to Manalapan High School and earned a graduation degree in 1999. Then in 2003 she attended Rutgers University to earn a bachelor’s degree in meteorology. After that, she started working at WICU in Erie, Pennsylvania. She also worked at WJAR in Providence, Rhode Island and WHDH in Boston, Massachusetts.
Apart from her meteorological responsibilities, she also hosts the NBC educational nature program Earth Odyssey with Dylan Dreyer airs on NBC’s The More You Know.

In 2012 Dreyer walked down the aisle with the producer and cameraman of NBC News Brian Fichera and the couple stayed in New York City. In June 2016 Dreyer confirmed that she is pregnant with their first child together and welcomed a son named Calvin in December 2016.
She announced her second pregnancy in July 2019 on Today and gave birth to a son named Oliver in January 2020. Soon after the arrival of second child, she conceived again and in September 2021, she welcomed her third son named Russell James.
In a 2021 interview, when she was asked if she plans to get pregnant again, she responded saying “We’re done, we’re tapped out.” Coming to if she wants to welcome a girl in her life she said “This is the girl,” and carried the book titled Misty the Cloud: A Very Stormy Day written by her.
So that’s it, Dylan and Brian aren’t looking to expand their family any further, which is probably a good thing when it comes to their humble living situation.
All Dylan’s sons share a room together. Her journey of becoming a mother was not easy as she suffered from secondary infertility after welcoming first child.
