Who is Micheal Tyson?
Micheal was born in 1966, in New York, and he has one older brother and a sister. His mother died when he was sixteen years. His real name is Micheal Gerard Tyson but he has also known for other nicknames such as “Iron Mike” and “Kid Dynamite”. He was the winner of the heavyweight championship for three years 1987 to 1990. Tyson is the youngest boxer to hold this title at 20 in WBA. WBC, and IBF.

In 1997 he lost his title of WBA to Evander Holyfield, also disqualified for worst action. Tyson always remains controversial because of his misbehavior. The Ring magazine placed Tyson in 16th position among the top 100 boxers list and according to ESPN he is in the first position in the list of “The Hardest Hitters in Heavyweight History”. And Sky Sports also told him “perhaps the most ferocious fighter to step into a professional ring”.
Why did Tyson Went Jail?
Tyson was arrested in 1991, for a r*pe case and the case is trialed in Marion County’s superior court in 1992. A lawsuit was filed against Tyson in 1991 by Desiree Washington, who is Miss Black Rhode Island.
It was confirmed by Tyson’s chauffeur that Washington’s condition shocked everyone then one more piece of evidence comes from emergency room doctors who check Washington’s physical condition after 24 hours and they also stated that she was r*ped.
But Tyson with his lawyer Vincent J. Fuller, states that he did not force her for s*x, in fact, she show her desire to do s*x with him. When Washington’s lawyer Gregory Garrison questioned him back, Tyson said that he forced her to state that she wanted to have s*x with him.
After this cross-examination, the jury was intentional for some time. Then in 1992, Tyson went to jail for six years with probation of four years but was released only in three years in 1995.
After his sentence announcement, he stated that “I don’t come here begging for mercy, ma’am. I can’t see anything good coming from this. I’m here prepared to expect the worst. I’ve been crucified, humiliated worldwide.”
After release from prison he said, “Just one time (I had to punch someone), somebody said something and I just went over there and hit him. We were locked down for a long time and it was just something that was irritable and I went over there and hit him. We were locked down and couldn’t go to the gym. Somebody got stabbed or something and we were locked down. I was just upset and miserable.”
