When is Season 4 of 1000-lb. Sisters?

Another season, or time to say goodbye? When season 3 of 1000-Lb. Sisters were over, Tammy Slaton and Amy Halterman (née Slaton) celebrated important events in their lives. Amy told everyone that she and her husband, Michael Halterman, were moving into their own place to get ready for the birth of their second child while Tammy was at weight loss rehab to focus on her health after a health scare. Here’s what we know about a possible fourth season.

1000-lb. Sisters: Quick Recap

1000-lb Sisters is a TLC reality show about Amy Slaton-Halterman and Tammy Slaton in Dixon, Kentucky. The show tracks their daily life and weight-loss efforts.

Amy starts season 2 recovering from bariatric surgery. She receives more excellent news a few months later. Tammy is anxious about her sister, who is pregnant with her and Michael’s first child. Tammy worries about Amy’s recovery after her operation. Amy’s ideal baby was here, but doctors told her to wait 2 years.

Tammy moved next door to Amy and Michael and relies on them for everything. Amy is concerned that with the baby coming, she won’t have much time to care for Tammy and hopes she can grow more independent.

Tammy’s weight changed during this season’s confinement. Tammy’s weight increase has Amy and her family scared that she’s reverted to previous behaviors. Chris, Amy and Tammy’s older brother, joins Tammy on her mission to obtain weight loss surgery and hold her accountable. Amy, Chris, and the family want Tammy to reduce her weight for surgery.

Tammy’s romantic life will be featured. She’s in love with Jerry, whom she met in Atlanta last year. Tammy hopes his travel to Kentucky implies he’s ready to take their relationship further. Tammy’s siblings don’t approve of the relationship or Jerry’s arrival. The family worries Jerry could ruin Tammy’s weight loss efforts and distract her from her health after learning they’ve only met once, according to TLC’s press release.

When Will 1000-Lb. Sisters Season 4 Be Released?

TLC hasn’t said when the Slaton sisters will be back or if they will be back for more episodes. Amy did talk about possibly taking a break from filming in February 2022. She said that she wasn’t contractually obligated to do a fourth season and was still waiting to hear back from the network.

“I have been on the show for three years. At first, it was easy, but now that I have Gage, it’s like, he doesn’t want me out of his sight,” she told The Sun about her oldest child. “When I’m at work, I feel like a bad mother. When we’re filming and stuff, he’s always at his grandmother’s. I feel like I’m losing valuable time.”

“I really don’t want to do another season because I’m pregnant and it’s too much. “I’ll probably be fine if they cut my hours,” Amy said when they were talking about what her conditions would be this time. “Last season, I worked every day for weeks, plus I was fixing up a house, taking care of Gage, Tammy, and my mom, and I also had to work,” she said. “Last year was just too much, and I can’t do it… I can’t say how much I get paid, but that and posting videos on YouTube are my main jobs.”

Even though the network hasn’t said yes or no to the fourth season of 1000-Lb. Sisters yet, People said that upcoming episodes will show Amy’s second pregnancy and her journey as a mother.

What Has Tammy Been Up To Since Her Health Scare?

Tammy surprised her fans in February 2022 when she posted a TikTok video from her rehab center in Ohio with a rare update on her life. In the clip, she hinted that her weight loss is going well, but fans will have to wait until the next season of the show to find out more about her.

She said, “I’d love to give you an update on my weight loss, but you’ll have to wait until season 4 comes out.” “Sorry!” Tammy then gave a small hint by saying, “Just know that I’m staying on track and things are looking up!”

Tammy’s scary hospital stay for carbon monoxide poisoning in November 2021, when she was put on life support and had a tracheostomy, has been over for almost seven months. She still wears her trach tube now, even though it’s been months since her brother Chris Combs said that Tammy lost 115 pounds in 30 days while she was in rehab.

Tammy has been staying out of the spotlight and hasn’t been on social media in the past few months. Fans were worried about Tammy’s health, but Amy said that her sister’s lack of activity on social media has nothing to do with her health. “She couldn’t get into her account, so she had to make new ones. “And TikTok kicked her off,” she told her fans in April via Instagram.

When Will Amy’s Second Child Arrive?

Amy and Michael said that their second child would be born in January 2022. The couple’s first child, Gage, was born in November 2020. During her second pregnancy, Amy posted on social media about how the pregnancy was going.

After moving from Dixon, Kentucky, to Morganfield, Kentucky, on April 18, she wrote “27 weeks baby” in the caption of an Instagram post.

On July 5, Amy had a son named Glenn Allen, who was her second child. “Welcome Glenn Allen Halterman,” she wrote next to an Instagram photo of her and Michael holding the baby in the hospital and writing “Welcome Glenn Allen Halterman.”

“Finally, the wait is over… She told People after the birth, “Michael and I are happy to announce the birth of our son, Glenn Allen Halterman.” “The delivery went very well, and I now have both of my miracle boys. Our family is complete!”

What Will The Upcoming Season Of 1000 Lb Sisters Shed Light On?

Amy Slaton had told The Sun a few months earlier that she would only do the show if TLC agreed to cut her hours. Because Amy will have to take care of two babies. So, if she wants to be a good mom, she needs to give her kids time.

In the same way, the new episode will be all about Tammy’s time in rehab, including her bariatric surgery. The only other difference is that Tam Tam will live with her sister. So, it’s likely that part will be used.

So, Season 4 of 1000 Lb Sisters will be fun and have a lot of stories that viewers might not have heard before. So, are you looking forward to the next part? Tell us below in the comments. Also, keep an eye on TV Season & Spoilers.
