On September 2, 2022 The Last of Us Part 1 remake is slated to release, marking almost a decade since the game made PlayStation fans crazy in 2013. With the launch date around the corner, players from all around the world just can’t stop getting their hands on it. Not only to the Last of Us remake but also to the independent prequel chapter ‘Left Behind’.

Though the PS5 version will be launched on September 2, people waiting for its availability on PC will require to wait a bit longer. Though the game is just about to launch in the next couple of days, a Naughty Dog developer went on to explain that the game has been developed without crunch.

Reports of long working hours and weekend shifts dimmed The Last of Us Part 2 however, the upcoming remake managed to maintain a healthy environment for developers though “hitting the same quality bar as TLOU2.”

The Last of Us Part 1 Remake Editions

The Last of Us Part 1 remake is coming up with two different editions that will become available at release. 

  • The Standard Edition will cost $69.99 and comprises the game itself along with Left Behind, and
  • The Digital Deluxe Edition will cost $79.99 and it will have several exclusive in-game advancements.

  • 9mm Reload Speed Increase Advancement

  • 6 Weapon Skins: Black Gold 9mm Pistol, Rubber Tactical Shotgun, Silver Filigree 9mm Pistol, Sculpted Oak Shotgun, Carbon Black Bow, Arctic White Bow
  • Speedrun Mode

Apart from these, those who pre-order any of these editions will be entitled to a particular amount of bonus Supplements and bonus Weapon Parts to improve skills and equipment respectively.

The upcoming game is slated to release on PS5 as well as on PC, but not simultaneously. PS5 players can access it sooner than those waiting for its launch on PC. As of now, there is no information regarding when it may be made available on PC or the features it will come up with for the hardware.

The Last of Us Part 1 Remake PS5 Upgrades and New Features

The Last of Us Part 1 remake will bring advancements not just in the visuals but also in several gameplay systems as well. PS5 Players can choose from two graphics options:

  • A native 4K option targeting 30 FPS, and
