But Jennifer Flavin suddenly announced her filing for divorce from the iconic actor and even Stallone was “blindsided” by this decision.

When Did Jennifer Proceed To File A Divorce?
Sylvester was clueless about his wife filing for divorce. Currently, the “Rambo” star is in Oklahoma City, filming for his next Paramount Plus series, “Tulsa King”. As a matter of fact, Flavin was also seen on the sets constantly. So, when Stallone got the news on August 18th, he was utterly shocked. He had no clue that his wife was going to take such a drastic measure.
One of the sources close to the couple said, “You couldn’t think of a nicer couple … she’s been visiting him in Oklahoma City, where he’s filming. It sounded like everything was great. I have no idea what happened.”
The divorce was filed back from the couple’s home in Palm Beach. Flavin stated that Stallone “has engaged in the intentional dissipation, depletion and/or waste of marital assets.”
So, she wants the court to prohibit her husband from selling, transferring, or doing anything with the assets as their divorce proceedings continue.
While talking to People Magazine, Stallone commented, “I love my family. We are amicably and privately addressing these personal issues.
On the other hand, Flavin stated, “I’m sad to announce that after 25 years of marriage I have filed for divorce from my husband Sylvester Stallone. While we will no longer be married, I will always cherish the more than a 30-year relationship that we shared, and I know we are both committed to our beautiful daughters. I ask for privacy for our family as we amicably move forward.”
Why Did Jennifer Flavin File For A Divorce?
Jennifer Flavin married the actor Sylvester Stallone in 1997. They have come a long way since then. The relationship that lasted over many decades is now coming to an end. Stallone and Jennifer first started dating in 1988, in an upscale restaurant in Beverly Hills, California. Before filing the divorce, the couple actually celebrated their silver wedding anniversary three months back. They seemed to still be so much in love with each other as they were decades ago.
Over the course of the marriage, Stallone and Flavin had three daughters namely Scarlet, Sistine, and Sophia. Stallone also has a son named Sage from his previous marriage.
Now, the reason for the split hasn’t been confirmed but multiple sources are claiming different reasons. It is rumored that the decision to divorce happened over a dog. Apparently, Stallone wanted a dog to ensure his security as well as the safety of his family. But Flavin didn’t agree with it and that led to a heated argument.
